Information for ISMVL-98 Attendees

During the Conference:
  Please wear your ISMVL-98 badge.
  Smoking, drinking and eating are permitted only in the lounge
  near the conference room.
  Smoking, drinking and eating are not permitted in the conference rooms.

Speakers (Regular Session):
  20 minutes' presentation + 5 minutes' questions and answers.
  Since the schedule is very tight, please finish your presentation 
  within the allocated time.
  Each room will be equipped with a transparency projector (OHP).
  Please note that there is no 35 mm slide projector, no computer connection.

Lunch:
  Registration fee does not include lunch.
  You can find many restaurants near the conference site.
  Please see the restaurant guide.
  For people who attend the Executive Committee meeting and/or 
  Symposium Committee meetings, we will provide lunch. (Requires reservation.)

Coffee Breaks:
  Coffee, tea, soft drinks,  doughnuts and cookies will be served at the lobby.

Reception:
  Time: 18:00-20:00 on May 26 (Tuesday) 
  Beverage and food will be served. Everyone is welcome.

Banquet:
  Place: NAVIS Room in Sea Hawk Hotel & Resort (1st Floor).
  Time:  18:30 to 20:30 on May 28 (Thursday).
  Style: Buffet
  Student registration fee does not include the banquet ticket.
  Extra banquet ticket is 5000 yen and can be purchased at the 
  registration desk.
  We will collect banquet tickets at the banquet, so please do not lose it.

Extra Proceedings: 
  Available at registration desk at 5000 yen per copy.

Convenience store, drug store, stationer, post office, dental office:  1st floor.

Copy machine: 
  In the convenience store (1st floor).

  Please use public telephones in the 1st and 2nd floor.

Internet:
 E-mail (telnet) and internet accesses are available at the registration.

Technical Tour:
  Time: 13:20 to 15:00 on May 29 (Friday).
  Matsushita Group and Fujitsu. Reservations required.
  Inquire at the registration desk.

Tenjin Area:
 There are many stores in Tenjin, downtown.
 There are several large bookstores (Japanese and English),
 department stores, and electronics stores.
 Tenjin also has ATM machines that accept VISA and MasterCard.
 To go to Tenjin, take a bus in front of the conference hall.
